New Era Wrestling Owner Logan Michaels was reopening his e-fed in early 2004 with every intention of doing things right. He hired a General Manager named Malone Morrison to help him manage what was the only show at that time, Killzone.
Talent poured in at that time, creating now-veteran superstars such as Vulcan, White Dragon, DDP, James Duncan, Fang, Lil'B, and Ronnie Bishop. On the very first NEW PPV, there would be a match for the vacant Overseas Title.
That match was a triple threat that was made by GM Morrison involving Ronnie Bishop, James Duncan, and Vulcan. That match has since raised the bar for the Overseas Title and made it much more valuable. The entire PPV was a great start to New Era Wrestling and brought the attention of E-Feds everywhere.
Not all was as great as it seemed however, soon after Malone Morrison got into a low point of his life and had to remove himself from New Era Wrestling, only to long to return every day until he finally did.
From the point of GM Morrison's removal, a new GM, Ihsahn was hired and brought a dark era to NEW. This time however, NEW is back in the hands of Logan Michaels, Malone Morrison, and the new addition of Simon Moreau, who shows great potential. Things are looking good for NEW once again.
